Sweet Sensations Donuts - Ten Mile

This place has the best doughnut selection. You need to get there super early because the best ones do sell out. They are super nice and include doughnut holes in your order, which is a pleasant surprise. The apple fritter is fabulous and even just a plain, simple doughnut with cinnamon and sugar is very impressive. The employees are nice and the food is great.

Stopped by on a whim looking to see if they had sugar raised donuts which I loved as a kid. Among a lot of other things, I found sugar raised twists, cinnamon twists and the all glorious MAPLE BACON BAR! I had to buy some. I noticed a few donut holes were dropped in my bag too which was a nice surprise. I waited until I got home to try them out. Probably some of the softest and freshest donuts I have ever had. The only one that survived long enough for a photo was the maple bacon bar (because I saved the best for last). Each one had the perfect amount of icing and/or toppings. The donut was able to shine through. I recommend this place for a great donut that hasn't been spoiled by trying to be too crafty or over the top. The donuts were really good but the deep black coloring in their chocolate kind of freaked me out 😂 I've never seen chocolate straight up black on a donut before. The picture is from the day after we picked them up and you can see how intensely black the chocolate is and kind of looks like a hint of green or something? It kind of worried me that it would stain my teeth. 🤣 Reminded me a little of Halloween donuts haha still delicious but would love to know why their chocolate is like that.

Listen. I thought I knew donuts. I’ve eaten donuts at gas stations, fairs, churches, and one very questionable bowling alley — but NOTHING prepared me for this two-pump, cream-blast masterpiece. They don’t just hand you a donut. They engineer it. You stand there like a starstruck bystander while they take a warm, innocent donut and absolutely obliterate it with cream right before your eyes. The best donuts. They are so pillowy and full of flavor. Every donut is perfectly frosted. Stopped in because i seen a picture of the maple bacon bar… Now it’s my favorite weekend morning breakfast treat stop. Take a chance stop in. It’s worth it.
