Right Side of the Boat Fish’N’Chips

It's been a while since I saw the cute little old horse trailer converted into a mobile food operation. It was at a catering event at Village Greens, and as setting up I had a chance to talk to the owners, Vince and Brenda, about their limited menu. Choice of cod (all the time) or halibut (Fridays), shoestring coated fries, comes with homemade tartar sauce and Brenda also makes the coleslaw. I usually order a three piece, as the chunks are good sized. The halibut is hand breaded panko, small but thick and juicy chunks of goodness and fried in peanut oil. Having worked in the potato industry for many years, I have found that you can’t beat the higher cost of using peanut oil for bringing out the flavor of fried foods. This super cute food truck showed up in my neighborhood so I had to check it out. I love fish and chips and I love great service. I was not disappointed. The fish chunks are big and meaty and they came with a huge pile of crispy fries. Chunky flavorful house made tartar sauce. Malt vinegar would have been the piece de resistance. Will be visiting again.

Delicious cod with delicious fries. Not greasy..cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was exceptional and a meal on its own. We got 3 orders on fish n chips. Better than ant restaurant fish we've had. Nice fire pit put front to keep you warm while you wait for your order.

Hands down the BEST fish and chips I've ever had. Their tartar sauce is AMAZING. The couple that runs this place is also just the nicest folks. Will absolutely be coming back on the reg.

The lovely couple of Right side of the boat catered our Dad's 80th birthday party of 35 people. From start to finish they were amazing, super friendly, prompt communication, and DELICIOUS FOOD! We couldn't be more happy with choosing them to take care of our Pop ❤️ We will be using them again 10/10 would recommend!
