Wow. Just got take out and was a bit leary. NYC foodie here and this restaurant can compete with the best. We are truly blessed to have this awesome place. I could honestly say this is the best restaurant in Rutland. True authentic Thai food. Pat the owner is great and I hope she keeps up the authenticity because it is 100% going to keep customers coming back. In the mood for some good eats? Hit up Sweet Thai. Hidden gem.

Absolutely authentic incredible Thai food in Rutland Vermont!!! A very lovely couple are cooking and serving some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten in this quaint, easy to miss unless you know to look for it dine in or take out restaurant. If you're looking for a fancy place with with waiters this is not for you, if you're looking for truly good food and a clean table with super sweet and caring owners come and enjoy Sweet Rice Thai Cuisine. We have ordered from here numerous times! By far my favorite restaurant in Rutland. Our “go to” order is the potstickers, Pad Thai, Thai basil rice and a curry! They fill the container's and we always have leftovers. The curry has great flavor and they can add as much spice as you’d like! The owners are super friendly and make recommendations when trying something new. This place is a must try! You won’t be disappointed

I wanted to love this place because we love Thai food! Unfortunately the flavors are off such as the pad thai is way too sweet and lacks authentic flavors, they're very stingy with their meat in the noodle dishes and stingy the with a pineapple in the PINEAPPLE fried rice, which is perplexing. The pudding desserts were good but I wouldn't just order dessert from here. It took longer than expected for the food, about 20 minutes but their order accuracy was good. That said we wouldn't order again.

Come to this place and do not hesitate. Everything we ordered was very yummy. The chicken satay was perfectly cooked. The tom Yum soup was perfect with the cold weather. Pad thai was also so tasty. And don’t forget to order their mango sticky rice it was absolutely a great ending to our meal.
