If you're an ice cream lover, you need to stop by Sweet Retreat in Liberty Hill! This cute little shop has so many big and fun flavors to choose from! The decor of the shop is pink and bright, with lots of photo opps all around! There's a good amount of seating to choose from, whether sitting at a regular table, a comfy couch or on a barstool. The woman behind the counter was very sweet, offered us samples and was willing to help with any questions we had. We all got Moose Tracks and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try it in milkshake form! It was a bit pricey ($25 for 3 people), but I do think it was worth the price for a fun treat!

Sweet Retreat is exactly what Liberty Hill needed! It's not just ice cream. It's a place you can go to sit down and visit. The owner and staff are such a joy to see when you walk in. The ice cream alone is another level. If you're looking for REAL ice cream packed full with flavor, you've found it at Sweet Retreat! I will be a forever customer of our little town's classic ice cream shop!

They treat everyone like a regular. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside, and it’s the spot where you can hang out, play games and enjoy!

5 STARS!!! From atmosphere to the little details details and especially the ice cream... WINS across the board! If you are in the Liberty Hill area... we finally got the good stuff!! I'm not even an Ice Cream fan really and I'm usually the one rallying my family to go get a scoop!! Don't sleep on the Mango Carrot sorbet (taste like apricot!!) or the PB Hearts! But there are SO MANY good flavors!! Owners and staff are all super personable and are excited to get to know the community more!! Keep them in mind for your next fundraiser or family outing.

Sweet Retreat Ice Cream is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the friendliest smiles and top-notch customer service that instantly makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is beautiful—bright, charming, and thoughtfully decorated down to the smallest detail. It’s the kind of place that puts you in a good mood the second you step through the door. And the ice cream? Incredible. The variety of flavors is unmatched—there’s something for everyone, whether you’re craving a classic scoop or something fun and adventurous. Every bite is creamy, rich, and full of flavor. They had the grand opening last Saturday and I’ve already taken my kids twice! This place does not disappoint. I highly highly recommend.
