Sweet Poppas Cafe & Catering

This place is amazing! The food was delicious, the atmosphere great, and the service was phenomenal! I came in with my coworkers for lunch and will be coming back every time I’m in the area. I had the grilled chicken salad. It had all the fixings with generous portions of everything and the chicken was so flavorful and juicy and cooked to perfection. I’m not big on taking pictures of my food but I wish I had. It was so delicious and pretty that my coworkers decided they’d be getting it next time. Thank you Sweet Poppas for such a wonderful experience.

I visited this local spot recently and was pleased with the food — everything was hot, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can tell there’s care put into the cooking, and that definitely made the meal enjoyable. That said, the customer service could use some improvement. When I walked in, there were about four people behind the counter, but I wasn’t really greeted or acknowledged in a welcoming way. It felt a little awkward, like no one was quite sure who should be helping. Some of the staff looked like teenagers, which makes me think it might be a family-run business — possibly younger family members helping out. If that’s the case, a bit more training in customer service and people skills could go a long way in creating a more inviting atmosphere. Overall, the food was

This is my first time going to sweet Papa‘s Café and I got a Patty melt that came with fries and a drink. I’m not supposed to be eating fries, but I ate the fries because they were so good. My patty melt was the bomb! I added mushrooms, but I don’t even think that would’ve even been necessary! The patty melt was so seasoned and so cheesy. It’s hard to find a good patty melt but I found one here! I will definitely be back. I would’ve took a picture of the whole meal, but I ate it🤣

Usually I have always had great experiences, but yesterday was a bummer. I ordered a 5 wing special with 2 sides and received baked chicken that was a leg and thigh. When I called to make them aware of their mistake, I was informed that I could only receive 3 wings as I had already gotten 2 pieces of chicken. Now I think all of that was wrong. They get a 1 in rating and the young lady was extremely rude about the entire incident 😒

This place is top tier. I had the baked chicken lunch plate. Chicken was SO tender. Green beans were fire. Washed it down with red koolaid! My friend had chopped pork bbq sandwich and loved it. Will be going back!
