It’s Time to Eat

I ordered the smoked leg quarter with macaroni and cheese and cabbage with beef sausage. My husband ordered the jerk leg quarters with macaroni and cheese and yams. The first impression is that the energy was high, positive, and they were friendly when I walked in, even though it was less than 1 hour until closing. Everything was bagged nearly and ready to go. I was really impressed by the fact that the wet dishes were packaged separately in a way that considered spillage during transit, so I had no issue there. The pineapple garnish was a nice surprise. The cabbage was good, with a slight kick (not overwhelming), though I would've liked more meat. The cornbread was perfect for me, not too sweet... just enough... with a sweet top. I have eaten at this establishment at LEAST 10 times now. I have not eaten at any restaurant that delivers the level of freshness and consistency that It’s Time To Eat does. The quality of food, paired with the amount of food that you get for the price you pay is amazing!

This is the second time I’ve had a meal from this eatery. And the second time I have been amazed. Big chef put his foot, elbow and hands with prayer on this food! Today I had the Hamburger Steak with potatoes, a side of cabbage with beef sausage and Mac and cheese, all fire!!!!! You have to try this experience forget ya mama chef got ya!!!

Cute and cozy spot with great hospitality and out of this world soul food!!!! You will not be disappointed! Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portions are large.

This is a quaint place in NLR (Mc Almont), food was good, all well seasoned not overly though, the price point os a bit pricey, i had the oxtails, yams and greens, havent tried any thing else yet may try the smash burger next, I also had th banana pudding i would give it a 6 out of 10.
