Sweet Detente | Organic International Desserts

I met the owner and artisanal baker of Sweet Detente. Scrolling through the website, I spotted a pastry that I just had to try. Robin makes a pastry called Mamoul filled with tantalizing combinations of fruit, spices, and nuts. I selected the pistachio/rose Mamouls, but also got to try the sour cherry/almond one. They were delicious beyond my comprehension! If you serve these desert pastries to guests, don't be upset if they leave you just a tiny morsel of them on the plate. It wouldn't be their fault - their impulse control would be muted by the deliciousness of Robin's pastries!

The desserts were a big success at our event. Everyone ate more than one and enjoyed them immensely. The desserts are so beautiful, as well as delicious, that they fit perfectly in our art gallery reception. They are definitely works of art! It was especially nice that Robin included flyers describing each dessert and its country of origin Thanks, too, to Robin for fulfilling our order on such short notice.

Robin made the tastiest most beautiful macaroons for my sister’s baby shower cake. She was kind and incredibly accommodating to me and my custom order needs. I will be telling every I know about her experience and talent:)

These desserts are amazing! As an Australian I have had many Lamingtons and I can tell you that these Lamingtons are perfect! Delicate and delicious, and add the variety in flavours, wow, you have to try these! Aside from Lamingtons everything I have tasted has been exceptional. You will not be disappointed. Must try!! Sweet Detente will have you coming back for more!

These delectable specialties never disappoint! Sweet Detente is not just dessert, it's an experience. Each item is beautifully presented and even includes it's own history and country of origin. This is my "go-to" luxury treat when I want to impress guests.
