Towne Lake Taco Co.

This restaurant is amazing! We were visiting Woodstock from the Chicago suburbs, and we were looking for dinner. We saw the great reviews of Towne Lake Taco Co, visited their website, and read the story of how they are from near our hometown! We decided it was meant to be and headed over there for dinner. The food was AMAZING, our server was extremely helpful in choosing dishes to try, and the owner was so kind and friendly. We tried the street corn with chips to dip, the Lil Havana egg rolls, steak taco with both corn and flour tortilla, and the basil shrimp taco. We also had the maple/rye cocktail as well as the berry basil margarita. Everything both food and drink was completely delicious with balanced flavors. Such a great place! We enjoyed a delicious meal and probably ate too much!! The food was so good, we had all manner of tacos, the chips and trio of dips and my youngest had a quesadilla. We practically licked the plates. Rick, Julie, and their team took great care of us and made us feel like family. The atmosphere was so cute. As my teens say, “The vibes were immaculate.” We can’t wait sit to return!

When I say “the best tacos Ive had in Woodstock”, I don’t say that lightly. These tacos are incredible. Hands down. The vibes in this spot are TOP NOTCH. The staff are incredible, and the food all the way down to the chips and salsa will have me back regularly!!!

Towne Lake Taco Co. is exactly what Woodstock needed! This isn't your typical rice and beans joint. You can immediately tell the food is made fresh and hot off the grill, not sitting in a warmer. ​You HAVE to try two things. First, the Woodstock Hot Chicken Taco: its got that good kind of heat. Second, the Brownie Chimichangas... trust me, save room...worth every calorie! ​TLTC is my new favorite spot. Stop scrolling and go!

What an amazing restaurant, so glad we found it. The steak taco had a little too much sauce but it was extremely good. The street corn was great and the homemade parmesan herb tortilla chips were my favorite. The maple old fashioned was perfect as well.
