I knew I was coming to Covington today, so I looked up a few places I wanted to try. Honestly, this wasnt my first choice. I was so excited about the name of the other place, that I didn't notice it was closed today. Anyway, I'm so glad that I came here!! The atmosphere was pretty cool... Your typical bbq joint type atmosphere... I got the rib sandwich with two sides, baked beans and mac n cheese. The rib sandwich was super delicious!! It was an actual rib with the bones taken out... It wasn't that pork patty crap like them people at the golden arches sells! Lol 👀 The meat was super flavorful, tender, and the bbq sauce on it was really good as well... Honestly, the rib was so good, you really don't need the bbq sauce! The baked beans were super flavorful and delicious, and the mac n cheese

Wanted beef brisket and got pulled pork for to go order. Called to fix it and they would not. No toast and pulled pork was not shredded more like huge chunks. Texture was springy.

The meal ticket that didn't get printed made us have to wait an extremely long time. However, the meal when finally brought to our table with lots of apologizing was very good. Loved the brisket smoke bbq sauce.

Food was overall good. Brisket has little fat and pulled pork had more than I like but it tasted good. Jambalaya and baked beans sides were good. Not a strong smoke taste but paired good with sauces. They have regular, hot and smoky sauces. Easy quick meal.

You Really Have To Look For This Place, But When You Find It, It's Well Worth It. The Sliced Brisket Is Moist And Tender, The Ribs Have A Nice Smokey Flavor To Them, The Regular And Spicy Smoked Sausage Are A Must And To Top It All Off, They Have Smoked Chicken And Sausage Gumbo. Since The Only Barbeque They Have In Slidell Is Chain Owned And Operated, I Might Have To Come Back Here. The Downside Is The Parking. You'll Get Stuck If You Geaux Around 1-2. But Hey, You'll Leave Full And Happy.
