The exterior and entrance of the location feature a variety of beach decorations. Upon arrival, one may find it necessary to navigate around a small parking lot, often resulting in parking at a different shopping center before walking to the restaurant. Once seated, the service observed was minimal despite the dining room being mostly empty. After placing an order, there was a brief wait before the food was delivered, at which point the staff appeared to primarily assist other tables without checking in. Following a signal for attention, the waitress promptly provided ranch and mayonnaise for the burger. Great place to go with family, kids, and whoever. You can bring dogs to the outside dining area. They have options for every dietary restriction (including beyond burgers). I had a delicious corned beef hash with gf multigrain bread, next time I'll try gluten-free French toast! The wait staff is wonderful, there are a ton of options, and the food is delicious for typical diner fare.

A little run down on the outside but gives you that authentic beach feel. Staff was reaally nice and on top of the service. Food came out in a good time. Burrito was great, good flavor. Eggs Benedict sauce was actually really delicious and unique. Only complaint was the home fries was a little cold but still tasted good so not deducting any stars for that. All around good experience.

I have only tried their breakfast a few times, which have been larger portions. You can't go wrong with the French Toast which is very filling and can be shared. The omelets are also a good option.

I am giving three stars for we have never had bad service at the Swami's in Encinitas. The people are always cordial, friendly & our servers are typically honest and caring. Having said that, however, the last two times our food either came out late (After a very long wait, longer than normal even when crowded.), cold or made altogether wrong. We love Swami's but these potentially problematic issues are not a good trend to fall into. I am hoping with a little encouragement, they will reset and tweak some things that seriously need tweaking before they get completely out of control forcing us to consider whether or not we would go back again in the future...especially with Corner Bakery across the street starting to look evermore inviting (We haven't been there yet but hear it's pretty
