This Musubi Love

This was hands down the best musubi I have ever had (and I’ve tried musubi in Hawaii many times). I first ordered the Bachan’s chicken musubi and then immediately sat in my car and ate it within 10 mins 😂. It was so good. The rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned, the chicken itself has a perfectly delicate and crispy batter but the chicken is still so juicy and flavorful! I then proceed to order more food from my car as I finished my first order. That’s how good it is. Get it—and don’t hold back, cause you’ll end up wanting more! Fantastic Musubi and Hawaiin Mac. So yummy! We ordered 4 different kinds of musubi and Hawaiian Mac. In each order there are two huge musubi. It was enough for 3 people (my husband, myself, and my daughter) for lunch. We ordered bachan shrimp, bachan chicken, tropical heat, classic, and Mac salad. All were delicious. The banchan musubi was crispy (chicken & shrimp) and worked well with the rice and spicy mayo. Thr classic and tropical heat was great. Each musubi is very economical in terms of price and everyone enjoyed lunch. Order online and grab once they have text that your order was ready. This is not a sit down resturant but a wonderful place to grab and go. They are located in a residential area so just walk on the left side of the building and you'll see the sign on where to pick up

Take out only place in an apartment building serving wonderful, made-to-order musubi (seaweed wrapped steam rice chunk topped with spam, chicken, shrimp, and other goodies). You place your order on line and they text you the pick up time. For us, it was ready in 10 minutes instead of the texted 20. You then drive to this alley, stop at the sign hanging from the building, and call them. They bring you the order very quickly. The rice was moist and succulent, the katsu (spam breaded with panko) and shrimp were warm and crispy, as they were just made. They were way better than the ones from a heat lamp. Yum!😋

So glad we found this hidden gem! It’s in a small apartment complex but super easy to just drive through and pick up. We ordered ahead and They brought it out to our car once we arrived. We ordered the classic and the spam katsu and they were both delicious. Also a side of the Hawaiian Mac salad is a must! And they just had a baby! Be sure to try this place out and support this family. We live in San Francisco but come down to visit family often, this spot will now be a must every time we are here.

Finally got to try today. Outstanding fresh made musubi and pretty legit Mac salad for not being in HI. I had Mac salad, a regular spam musubi and a chix katsu musubi. 2 full pieces per order is awesome ! Shared with friend and was perfect portion. Flavor and freshness were on point ! The only thing I wish had was packets of shoyu and sriracha. Other than that it is a solid 10 out of 10 ! 🤙🤙🤙
