Sutton House Bed & Breakfast

We have gone away on our anniversary every year to reconnect and reminisce. We have traveled past the Sutton House at least 300 times over the years. We chose to finally stay. We just loved our stay. We had the Blue Hyacinth room on the third floor. Such a grand room with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Our hostess was most engaging and knowledgeable. Breakfast was just enough. Fresh fruit and baked goods were available for snacking. We will definitely come back soon. One of the best B&B's we have stayed in over 23 years.

Inn is located on the main road a few miles out of Meredith. This was no problem at all and was nice to be out of the “city.” The owner, Taice (sp ?), couldn’t have been more accommodating and pleasant. She answered our questions about the area, recommendations for eating and hiking. The inn is very well kept and our first-floor room was quiet and perfect. Breakfasts were excellent. Two suggestions - let people know what’s for breakfast so they could decline something if they don’t want it, and add oatmeal as a standard breakfast item. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet and comfortable B&B. The room was super pretty and very comfortable. We had the Blue Hyacinth room and the bathroom is HUGE with a jacuzzi tub. It takes a while to get the hot water up but there is plenty when it arrives. Breakfasts were amazing and very good. Plenty of food and good coffee. All and all, a very pleasant stay. Will absolutely love to stay again.

Very nicely done B&B . The historic nature of the residence provides some quirky features in the amenities. Host and staff are inviting and friendly. Although on a busy street the interior rooms are quiet and air conditioned. I would repeat a stay here and had a great experience.

Outstanding experience. Tais was the perfect hostess and her staff are a delight The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. The pool was amazing and the grounds with plants and happiness. We enjoyed rocking on the front porch and stargazing at night. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
