Customer Reviews
We sat at the bar as it was Valentine's Day and we did not make a reservation. The bartender, she was outstanding. Friendly and joked even though she was super busy, she made us feel like we were a priority. I ordered the espresso Martini, it was the best I have had. The calamari was delicious. Melt in your mouth. Our main entrees were specials from the Valentine's dinner menu. They did not disappoint. We are looking forward to our next trip to the Canoe!
We had a lovely evening with friends. The service was exceptional. Jack was very attentive and engaging, but did not hurry us through our evening. The food was outstanding. The Guiness Stew starter was amazing, and our entrees did not disappoint. We had the swordfish special and mixed grill. Both were extremely memorable! We'll done! Overall it was very affordable and top marks across the board. Highly recommend The Canoe for great food, outstanding service, at a good price!
Took a day trip: decided to stop for lunch at Canoe. Walkway in nicely landscaped. Not much for signage, looked closed. Inside basic decor. Food was just average. Husband tried meatloaf, since it is one of his favorites. Loaf itself was nice and tender but he was not a fan of the large amount of spicy ketchup on top. It took away from the flavor. Burnt ends i was not a fan but hubby thought they were good. Too fatty for me since they were made with pork belly. Pizza advertised as wood fired traditional cheese. It was clearly a frozen 4 cheese pizza. Odd taste, definitely not as expected. Though food was just okay. Our waitress Kissie was excellent. She was nice, attentive and very good at her job.
My sister and I we’re on a leaf peeping trip. We sat at the bar it was busy and didn’t have a reservation. The service was excellent!! The pork chop was tender and juicy! Probably the best I’ve ever had! We had several people taking care off us and everyone was friendly! We would definitely go back again while in the area!
Always a great experience dining at canoe! This time I had the swordfish special and it was very delicious. Canoe chips are always a must! Healthy pours on the cocktails and friendly service.
