Yummy is a hole in the wall, mom and pop shop that is always a must for Chinese food in Portland. The owners are kind, hardworking and accommodating. Don’t judge a book by its cover because the food here is reminiscent of the classic (good) Cantonese food you could get back pre 2010s in PDX. Not one of the gentrified and overpriced Chinese restaurants I am sad to see increasing in numbers. Nothing but quality food and generous portions. So please don’t let gems like these disappear. I’ve come here countless times with my family. Anywhere from 4 people to more than 10. We like to bring everyone here for any occasion. Food: never gone wrong with anything I’ve ordered here. What a great find for authentic Chinese food and sushi too! The fresh rice noodles and chow mein noodles are freshly made and huge portions. Love the BBQ plate that lets you choose 3 variety of meat - spareribs, duck and chicken is our favorite and last is there beef brisket pot with tofu that taste authentic how I remember growing up in Hong Kong.Portions are large sharing size for family meal.

Come here near closed time, the lady owner is so kind, asked me to have a seat and enjoy the food. Really cozy place, especially in such a cold day.
