Sushi Yoshi Steak Stone & Seafood House

I always look for Japanese restaurants whenever I visit different cities, and this one is truly one of the most authentic sushi places I’ve been to. I ordered sashimi and the chef even added sushi rice for me — the combination was amazing. Fresh flavors, great experience. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Finding a Japanese restaurant I can enjoy is difficult due to a mushroom allergy. This place is AMAZING! None of their ingredients have a mushroom base, and I was able to enjoy miso soup for the first time in over 20 years. I got the New Moon sushi, and it was delicious! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our server was wonderful, the music was calm and relaxing. I have a new favorite restaurant to enjoy.

I enjoyed everything that I ordered from this sushi spot and was surprised by the large sushi portions! I had lots leftover to take home to my family. I ordered the Yo Yo Maki Specialty Roll, Stuffed Jalapeños, Salmon Hibachi w/ Fried Rice and Veggies, and Fried Cheesecake. Everything was very delicious and fresh tasting. The fried sushi roll (with a side of ginger and eel sauce) was my absolute favorite. And the fried cheesecake was really something special. It wasn’t too sweet, and had a warm battered crust on the outside with still slightly cold cheesecake on the inside. This place is definitely worth a try and I plan to visit again.
