Sushi umi

We stopped by to look for dinner and looked at the menu around 4pm. The price was good so we came back around 7pm. We put our order to go because the place so was so busy. It was February 13. The food came out about an hour after we put the order. If it was lunch time we would have been rushing give an hour to wait. Smaller group would have seated right away. The bathroom was clean. The server apologized for having us to wait. When we came back home we discovered the restaurant put extra miso soup (the server asked how many people in our group and they put one for each person) than we ordered. Woohoo! However, the portion was really generous we have so much left over. We would definitely come back here.

Wow… I went to this place years ago with family-friends and I am so happy to say that they are as good, if not even better, than when I first tried their sushi here!! Their baked scallop rolls and baked salmon rolls are TO DIE FOR! Literally some of the best sushi I’ve ever had… The lady special roll with soy paper is also very refreshing and I would highly recommend it as a pairing to some of the denser rolls :) The service here is wonderful and the chefs are so kind! They have even waved goodbye to me before! The atmosphere here is the literal best and specifically set up for calmness and relaxation with green vines creating a little privacy for guests and a warm light that really helps you settle in. Awesome individuals! It was really busy when I went in on Friday and the staff was working so hard to make sure that everyone was accounted for. It did take some time for the food when they are busy, but they make sure you are accounted for. Great food come to those who wait!! 👍✨ KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Best sushi in hacienda heights. Super friendly staff, good portions and delicious food. I love the bento box with teriyaki and spicy tuna.

This place never disappoints. Great service and Amazing tasting food. Ordered the Colima roll and baked Lobster Roll-trust me, well worth it. Many avocado salad is a great way to start. Definitely recommend this place.
