Sushi Umi (Glendora)

This is definitely going to be our favorite mom-and-son date spot! The decorations are unique yet beautifully done, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The servers are incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you're looking for great sushi paired with an amazing ambiance!

Food was amazing! Tried the chefs combo(turns out the chef I had was also the owner) to which every piece of sushi had a good portion of their choice on top. Miso soup was good and tried their double salmon roll special. Very flavorful and good portion on the inside and out. Place inside is small but doesnt feel cramped, servers and chef are hospitable and ambiance is calm. Great for a date or even just to relax. Definitely returning! The new owners are incredible. Fish is unbelievably fresh, Rolls are delicious. They even have a Ramen bar! I usually get the lunch bento and it is the most affordable and delicious lunch in town.

This local sushi spot is such a hidden gem! The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are beautifully presented, and everything tastes amazing. You can really tell they care about quality and flavor. The service is friendly and attentive without being overwhelming, and the atmosphere is clean, cozy, and welcoming. It’s the perfect place for a casual dinner or a date night.
