Kaomungai

Been going to Kaomungai for a while now for some solid Hainan chicken and fried chicken. It was a Saturday morning and I was looking for a takeout option and kept this store in mind. For ordering, I visited their website, browsed the menu, and then placed my order. The website accepted Apple Pay, so that was convenient for mobile ordering. There’s also photos for anyone that prefers visuals. I got (1) poached dark meat chicken over rice and (1) fried chicken over rice. Quality of food remains good and consistent. I had to make a review right away. If you like Hainan chicken, this place is GOOD. Note that this is Thai owned, but it is even better because there are extra dipping sauces that you don’t usually get in Chinese Hainan Chicken. We tried the Dark meat with rices the half fried, half chicken, and the curry. I was quite surprised as the curry tasted like Japanese curry, but it was great. The rice had flavor, wasn’t too oily, chicken was tender, and the fried chicken was crispy. I can’t really expect anything more, the portion was very generous as well! Each of the dishes even came with a soup! The pickled Vegetables were also very good, not too sweet or sour. Food was affordable and good just passing through but we were very satisfied! Staff was incredibly friendly and it was quite clean. Overall great experience highly recommend if you like chicken!

Great chicken rice in the area. Tender chicken and sauces were tasty. This is thai style chicken rice with variety of sauces. Simple to go place. No table service. And no restaurant decoration.

The food was excellent I love Thai food chicken very tender juicy omg. Great food and great taste great service. Will come back again.
