Sushi Roka Bar & Grill

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Sushi Roka Bar & Grill restaurant. From the moment we sat down, our waiter, Sean, set the tone with flawless customer service—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful in every detail. It felt like we were truly being taken care of. The sushi itself was beyond impressive. Each piece was beautifully prepared and bursting with freshness—you could taste the quality in every bite. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation made the meal just as much of a feast for the eyes as it was for the palate. Between the exceptional service and the incredibly fresh, delicious sushi, this restaurant has easily become one of my favorites. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a top-notch sushi experience!

FINALLY!!!. Great sushi in Poway! I took my daughter here Sunday and really, really enjoyed it. Everything we had was terrific. It was busy so we had to wait about 10 minutes but it was worth every minute. Someone, I believe it may have been the owner, bought a glass of wine for my daughter while we waited for a table. We had spicy edamame and tempura shrimp for appetizers. For sushi I had escolar, tobiko with a quail egg, and uni; and we shared a firecracker roll. She also had the teppanyaki skillet with filet Mignon. Every single bite was excellent. I am so happy the people who run this restaurant are focusing on quality food, beautiful presentation, stellar service, and it's super clean. They are also very generous with the wine pour! I was so tired of getting low quality sushi around

I went there on a first date the food was delicious The service was a little lacking we sat out during the patio in my ice was really filled. When it came time to pay the tab the waitress blurted out the total from a tablet I was mortified My date did not have a chance to break down what we were billed for or not build for interesting We had gotten a role we didn't order And she gave me real Wasabi and said she wasn't gonna charge us for it hmm I wonder But overall I would definitely go back

Casanori Sushi delivers every single time. The presentation is sharp, the flavors are balanced, and you can tell there’s real attention to detail behind the bar. It’s the kind of place where you end up ordering more because everything hits. Donovan and Ivan are a big part of that. They keep the energy up, make the whole experience smooth, and know exactly how to guide you through the menu without overcomplicating it. Solid food, solid people, zero disappointment.

We have eaten here a few times since they open. We have been very happy with every experience. My kids clear their plate every time. The happy hour is great. We love the Lemon cilantro roll and the 'drop it like it's hot'.
