Papa Duke's Deli & Grill

Saw a review saying that subway is cheaper and a better sandwich. Only person I can think of that has that view would be a subway franchise owner. This sandwich was not quite the throwback to subs you get at a large deli but dang close and way above any chain I have been to in the last 2 years. Nice options, friendly service and if I had seen it, a nice pizza deal. They smelled wonderful so maybe next time. Only problem was parking but thats not their fault more the property owners. We came in here for lunch. We've driven by here many times going to and from Costco. We were looking for an Italian beef sandwich and discovered that they have it here! Lots of peppers, nice crunch to the toasted bread, and it comes with a small cup of au jus. Also got the Nick's Viva Chicken Panini. That was very good too. Fries were good but a little too much salt on mine. Friendly service and a good spot for a quick lunch.

Huge portion sizes. The Chicago Style Italian Beef was delicious. Definitely consider adding Papa Dukes to your regular lunch rotation!!

We ordered p/u at 1045, grabbed it at 11 am. After a pleasant quick chat with Papa Duke re: the odd multiple orders of breakfast cheese pizzas and hoagies 😂, he handed me my order. We took it home for a backyard brunch with the tot. First time and won’t be the last. All three sandos were delicious and fresh. The chicken 🐓 pesto portifino was fresh and the pesto was on point (like, very good pesto / bread ratio). The breakfast egg 🥚/ bacon 🥓/ cheese was simple but buttery and tasty. Lastly, Nicks Viva Chicken is their popular one for a reason. Great saucy-ness (zingy but not spicy, tangy but not overpowering amount of sauce) on the fresh pressed sando. Overall and wonderful sandwich brunch meal and very pleasantly run. Go check it out.

Papa Duke's is the best. Good food, good service! High quality ingredients. Ron and Ruben are so kind and awesome! They are always welcoming and good spirited. If you haven't tried the food, service and atmosphere here, you're missing out.
