Sushi Land

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. My husband and I know our favorites and usually order similar dishes each time. Our favorites are the spicy sashimi salad, shrimp tempura, and a few sushi rolls. The food is always delicious and makes for a great weekend treat after work. Some reviewers have commented on the quality of the sushi. It’s not at the Michelin-star level, but the quality is very good for the price. I also appreciate the variety of rolls on the menu. To be fair, I’ve noticed some subtle changes in the food over the years since we come here often. Occasionally, they add fewer greens or serve sashimi and tempura at inconsistent temperatures. On our trip visiting New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC... feel so hungry, late at night... 'Sushi Land' where we stopped by in Philadelphia gave us such a wonderful time. Even it was late and ordered various foods... we will never forget the incredibly kind staff and delicious sushi rolls. And also the restroom was very spacious and clean, which is really important to me... hahaha It's a bit sad for I’m not sure when I’ll be back in Philadelphia... but I definitely recommend “Sushi Land” to anyone visiting Philadelphia. Visiting from Melbourne Australia and this place really surprised me! Great customer service, delicious and fresh sushi, well presented and made with love! Highly recommended !

The fish was fresh, the service was great, and the food was delicious! The prices are very reasonable, especially for the location (in the heart of Bryn Mawr). I only gave three stars for the atmosphere because I wasn't really paying attention. I don't know about you, but I go to restaurants to eat. We told the chef what we could spend, what we liked, and he took care of the rest. One of my new favorite spots. I only wish I knew about it sooner... like, 20 years ago!

I had California Roll n Miso soups which’s is superb delicious and owner is super friendly. Atmosphere is beautiful and clean as well food portions are good too and price is very much reasonable. I strongly recommend this restaurant . If you are beat by don’t miss it.
