Surfside Frozen Custard

This little ice cream spot in Spring Lake is pure happiness in a cone 🍦 I’m convinced calories don’t count when you’re eating ice cream this good — especially by the water. It’s officially my favorite excuse for a sweet detour. 10/10 would happily “forget” my diet here again!

Creamy delicious custard. Good, fast service from friendly young people. There was a line, and I imagine it gets busy in the summer. The servings are generous. They’re taking part in the “NJ Ice Cream Tour” (June 1 - Aug 18, 2024) ask for a handout, get it stamped, and get on the road 🍦 Street parking. Tables off to the side, if you want to eat there.

Went here for the first time today and will not be back. Staff were rude and had zero personality. I asked for two scoops of ice cream and barely got anything in my cup! Ice cream melted right on the spot. Paid nearly $7 for basically a melted kiddy cup! Overall over priced, mediocre taste, and unfriendly staff. Just go to Sundaes!

Favorite summer Stop Period. Best around, I’ve even come home from NYC craving this and went straight there bring back some for later! The staff is always the same from season to season, great kids pay them a visit and tip them well!

Cute place. Plenty of street parking and outdoor seating. Great portion size. Staff was very nice too.
