Stopped in for an Acai Bowl and my partner and I both enjoyed the bowls. We both ordered the WB Bowl served in a large tall plastic cup type container with the Acai, strawberries and granola without the honey, since they ran out of honey. The Acai Bowl was very good. I prefer an Acai Bowl in an actual bowl so that the granola covers more of the Acai base and lasts longer. Once I was done my granola, I still had quite a large amount of the Acai left that I ate by itself. Service is excellent.

Clean facility, bicycle parking and handicap parking available. Prices are a little on the high end. Staff is friendly and helpful. The smoothie was good, nothing to write home about but also not awful. A nice stop while biking or walking the loop.

Surfberry is this little gem on Causeway Dr., just after passing over the bridge into Wrightsville Beach. I was hungry, but not starving, and wanted to enjoy something fresh and clean that would set well on my stomach this afternoon. FOOD: The Mermaid Pitaya Bowl with added Coconut and Mangoes. The Mermaid bowl included a chilled Pitaya puree buried under a heap of fresh fruit. Mangoes, strawberries, coconut and bananas all artistically situated on the top. Add that drizzled honey to the mix and you have a tropical explosion in your mouth. The natural juices of each fruit, creates a symphony inside the small pond of dragonfruit. Surfberry will always be one of my favorite places to grab an acai bowl. I found this gem while I was living in Wilmington and I will always go back when I am in town. The little store offers acai bowls, smoothies, milkshakes, frozen yogurt, coffee, and juices. Everything offered there is also given out in great sizes, not too much, but not too little. My favorite bowl is the nutty bowl, but I get it with peanut butter instead of honey and it is to die for!

When I’m in the area this is my go-to spot to grab an açaí bowl or smoothie — without all the junk. They use fresh ingredients and the staff are friendly.
