Surf City Sandwich

A surf-themed shop with cool interior design and tasty sandwiches! We were looking for burgers and were glad to find Surf City. The Philly cheesesteak is their most popular and it is excellent. The ghost pepper Jack is subtle but provides the right amount of kick. The burger was also surprisingly good, and they cook the patty to order. The Vulcan Mindmelt was okay, basically a bacon cheeseburger but in a sandwich form. A little underwhelming. The homemade chips were a nice touch. The subgarden salad was a little too sour with the dressing. You can add chips or salad for $0.99. Fries were good and came with the burger. About $16 per item. All in all a good find and would come again!

We ordered the grilled sandwich(hot) and Mr. Natural(cold) sandwich.. Both arrived pretty quickly and were very tasty.. service was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have few side condiments(spicy sauces).. The sandwiches come with chips or salad I just hope they had another option for a vegetarian hot sandwich

Was not impressed with the Italiano, with what I paid. The service when taking my order and some elements of the ambiance were the best part of the experience for me. I normally love sandwiches like this, and so I think it's not a good sign if I'm feeling a bit sick and I couldn't even finish it and it felt like I was forcing myself to. I feel bad, because it's clear they've been making an earnest effort, but I tried this place near 10 years ago and am still not happy. Now we've got a pattern going, hence the review. Edit a few hours later: The other person I got a sandwich for after talking this place up a storm again felt bad and let me try their pastrami. Full disclosure, I substitute the Swiss but the ghost pepper jack felt overkill when the aioli on that sandwich is already spicy fro

One of the best sandwiches in town! I'm a regular here, and you should be too! Their sandwiches, especially the warm ones, taste like a properly crafted meal and not just a sum of its ingredients. They rotate part of their menu now and then, so you won't get bored either!

Delicious pastrami sandwich, and you can add a side salad for only $.99! Friendly staff and high quality ingredients. Highly recommend.
