We won a free cake from Sugar Bakery at our wedding overview day and decided to save it for our anniversary, best decision ever! Ela made the whole process so easy and stress-free. She was so kind, always quick to respond, and super helpful with every little detail. The cake design turned out even cuter than we imagined, and it tasted amazing! Pickup was simple and smooth, which made it all the more enjoyable. We’re so grateful to Sugar Bakery for helping make our anniversary extra special, we can’t recommend them enough!

I live about 4 hours away. So coming in here was such a beautiful experience. It's gorgeous in there and the sweets are amazing. ! I wish I lived closer !

Ela and Henry are the sweetest and so creative! Everything they make is incredible. We especially love their macarons. We ordered a custom lemon poppyseed baby shower cake with lemon, mango passion fruit and dark chocolate mango passion fruit macarons. They gave us a sample of their latest creation a blue cheese and apricot macaron — it’s a must even if you don’t like blue cheese. Try it! If you don’t know what to get, mango passion fruit is one of Ela’s signature flavors. Their located in the food court section of the mall. Whenever I visit Sugar Bakery, I always am made to feel like family and not just a customer. I have severe allergy concerns and have received very clear information about every single new product in which I have expressed interest in trying out. And, whenever I purchase something for my family when I travel to visit them, I have been accommodated by the inclusion of a cold pack so our desserts will not spoil before I arrive. Whether it is for a macaron or two, a few slices of cake, some cookies, or a piece of cheesecake, Sugar Bakery will continue to have my business and support.

Sugar bakery has always my treat yourself moment. They have really delicious and really attractive desserts. I have bought them at Delux foods but I’m so happy they came to Capitola. You would not be disappointed in the selection.
