This is what a good donut should taste like! We LOVE this place. No matter what time of day we show up, the donuts are fresh and the staff is extremely kind.

‘Sunshine Donuts & Cafe’ is a charming little “unexpected” spot in Placerville, tucked away along the winding hills, far from the hustle and bustle of downtown main street…and is TOTALLY worth the drive! With a spacious exterior, charming and welcome interior with great energy, and a fantastic, friendly staff! …Oh, and not to mention - delicious donuts! LOVE this place and I’ll definitely be back for the coffee, too! I highly recommend.

Best donuts in all of El Dorado county. Pillowy, soft, melt in your mouth delicious. Really nice staff as well

Stopped by this afternoon on my way back from the Gold Rush event in Coloma, and had their roast beef and melted cheese sandwich and glazed donut. And can I say yummy, yummy yummy!
