Ponderosa Ridge A Bed & Breakfast

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Ponderosa Ridge earlier this month while visiting Apple Hill! The number one activity I was excited to do was pick apples to bring home, and we were able to do so on their orchards. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was delightful - it felt very clean and fresh, and we were not lacking or missing any amenity. The breakfasts Bonnie created were divine - If I hadn't been saving room for Apple Cider Donuts and Fritters, I would have had 3 plates! They were able to accommodate a vegetarian and we didn't feel like we were missing out at breakfast at all. Bill and Bonnie both gave great recommendations for dinner restaurants, orchards to visit, where to find The Best Apple Fritter, and wineries in the area, and we enjoyed getting to chat over breakfast with them

Cannot say enough about Ponderosa Ridge B&B. Bonnie and Bill are delightful. The inn is immaculate and so peaceful. We stayed in the Western room - very comfortable bed, roomy bathroom and amazing views from deck right off room. Breakfast was amazing! Location is great - right in the middle of all that Apple Hill has to offer. We will certainly be returning!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Ponderosa Ridge B&B. Our Garden room was very clean and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi had a nice view of the woods. The breakfast was very delicious. The owners were very nice. We did some wine tasting in the area and had dinner at the Enchanted Forest. It was a wonderful getaway. We want to go back.

We recently stayed at Ponderosa Ridge B&B during a visit to see family in the Placerville area of Nor Cal.|This is a beautiful property with many trees and an apple orchard. The house is large and spacious with a wrap around porch furnished with rocking chairs. |We stayed in the Garden Room which was nicely furnished and had a very comfortable bed. The attached bathroom was clean and neat with a whimsical shower tile design. |Mornings were spent walking the property and enjoying the 24/7 coffee bar while rocking on the porch and enjoying the view. |Breakfast was enjoyed at the large dining table. A Perfect Christmas Getaway My girlfriend and I were looking for a special escape to treat each other for Christmas, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. I’m not someone who typically writes reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one. For our first-ever stay at a bed and breakfast, we were blown away. Bonnie and Bill were incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, and the breakfast—let me tell you—was absolutely to die for! We spent the evening upstairs playing pool and darts, which was a lot of fun, and capped off the night with a clean and relaxing soak in the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind.
