Sunshine Breakfast Bar

Building is beautiful. Great design. Smells clean. Menu is fairly priced and solid. Coffee is high quality. Although a bit strong for breakfast coffee. Server did not pre bus our plates or offer more coffee. Not just us, but other tables as well. Disappointing experience, everyone likes to have that last cup of coffee after breakfast. Drip coffee was also very expensive. Including tip $60 for 2 people. Food was good, but considering level of service, value didn't meet expectations. 6/10

First time here. Wow I seriously messed up by not coming here sooner. The food was delicious, the staff is amazing, the prices are very reasonable. I had the all American, very delicious the potatoes are sliced round and thinly cut. Very well seasoned, the eggs were quality eggs, and the ham was amazing, it came with sourdough bread is put grape jam on it. The coffee was quite good. My experience was very positive and the surroundings were pleasant. I recommend coming here great place to bring your family.

First off, the service was superb. A staff member greeted me the moment I walked through the door and seated me. The server was nice and attentive. I ordered a waffle and chicken sausage and was not disappointed. The portions were large and tasty. You need to check out this location if you're in the Phoenix/Tempe area.

Wow, great food, friendly and fast service. If you like Bloody Mary's, you really have v to try the one with the bacon!! I had the Florentine Benedict. The hollandaise was delightful and didn't separate like some do. lightly tilted spinach was still very fresh. I also had the creamy grits with fresh whipped butter as my side. Altogether we are so glad this new addition to Tempe is so close to be home. We will be back

Stopped by Sunshine Breakfast Bar expecting a good local breakfast, but left a bit disappointed. The food was okay — nothing terrible, but definitely not worth the higher prices. What really turned me off, though, is that they don’t allow firearms on the premises. This is Arizona, and many of us responsibly carry, so it felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Honestly, I’d rather just go down the street to US Egg — the food is better, the service is friendlier, and they don’t make you feel uncomfortable for exercising your rights.
