Sunset Grill Clearwater

A cute diner/small restaurant in Clearwater. We went here a couple of times while we were in the area. The place was always steady, a lot of regulars. The service was great and our waitress each time was always helpful, attentive, and pleasant. The food was very good and they have the best omelettes we have every had. The place looks very clean and the prices are very reasonable for that area. I highly recommend checking them out.

Stopped off today to pick up lunch for work pals and I did try and call twice first and the number on the website does not work. Did online ordering and headed over but the food was definitely not ready when the order said. Give or take a few minutes, I get it, but 15 minutes is a little much. I will say the food is pretty good although I ordered a ham and cheese and when I opened it, there was yellow cheese instead of what was advertised. Still good, but not really as advertised. I also bought a piece of cheesecake for my fiance so we'll see how that tastes later. Also, if you go in and have a lot of people, parking is very tight. Just FYI.

Ordered chicken pot pie and it was the worst version I have ever had. The flavor was horrendous, it wasn’t a traditional pot pie and it wasn’t even warm all the way through. Took one bite and got the check. Breakfast sandwich the egg was cooked way too long, hash browns were too crunchy (I ordered home fries). Server was slammed but didn’t even bother asking why we were leaving, having clearly not eaten our food.

Thankful place was open for Christmas Day as single person enjoy great Christmas breakfast yummy My only critique short staff so really hungry it takes a while get your food. Kim my waitress was awesome sweet and accommodating I definitely recommend.and will Visit again try other meal options had French toast and omelette couldn’t eat it all had to take home half.

This place was conveniently located near U.S. Hwy 19 on Sunset Point Road. We went on a Saturday at about 11:00 am. We did not have to wait for seating which is rare for brunch on a weekend in this area. The omelets were great with plenty of toppings, to include the right amount of cheese. The grits were ok and the homemade potatoes were good. The waitress was friendly, polite and checked on our table several times throughout our meal. The menu had a great deal of choices and the pricing was what was expected in this part of the county. This restaurant is a good choice for breakfast.
