I drove 30 mins to go to this place and it was worth it. The scones, drink and pretzel were all so good. The owner/baker was so gracious too. You must drop by their booth when you visit the Slatington Farmers Market.
I wish Slatington wasn’t so far a drive for me, but it’s definitely worth it for these delicious scones!! None like these in the Lehigh Valley compare. The variety of unique and wonderful yummy flavors week to week keep me coming back. I feel like it’s the best kept secret for coffee and tea drinkers…an amazing scone!! Celia is a passionate baker and the proof is in her scones. So if you’re not nearby or looking for a wonderful day outing with your family…take a drive to the Slatington farmers market and stroll the additional vendors (my kids love the treasure hunt that is the antiques section) there or walk the adjacent rail trail… You won’t regret it. Vegan options are few and far between in this area, and sunny moon really knocks it out of the park with both quality of food and service. We come here almost every weekend and look forward to saying hello and having our special Saturday vegan scones. The flavors are always changing with the seasons and I haven’t had one I didn’t like. 10/10 would recommend. What a joy to have this as a local business!
I have visited Sunny Moon Sconery several times now at the Slatington Farmers Market. The flavors change each week to keep it new and different. The owner is very sweet and provides service with a smile. Scones are delicious with a morning cup of coffee or just as a snack!
My husband and I stopped at the Slatington Market and stopped at the bakery. We got a black bean brownie, cheddar scone, chocolate espresso, blueberry lemon, and chunky monkey scones. We both agree that they are the BEST SCONE we’ve both ever had! We will drive the 52 minutes from where we live just to buy these scones!! Absolutely amazing!!!!!
