Sunflour Bakery & Gifts

Today Mark and I stopped by this bakery in Newport, Maine that I recently had discovered through Facebook. Sunflour Bakery & Gifts was an incredibly excellent find! The owner was super friendly, the vibe inside is very welcoming, and there’s lots to tempt your craving for a sweet treat. I was delighted to find options that are dairy free, gluten free, and even sugar free. The gingerbread scone pictured here is all three of those! Really well done considering it meets so many dietary needs!! The cupcake is pumpkin spice in gluten free and dairy free. Again, amazing!! We will be adding this location to our regular routine! She makes cakes to order as well and can do it with the dietary needs in consideration. There’s also fun events offered like painting classes, and the cute little gift are

This is the cutest little shop! The candles are amazing, the desserts are delicious, the crewneck sweatshirts are the most comfy crewnecks I own, and so much more. There are GF dessert options as well. Definitely worth stopping in when you’re in Newport. PS-both times I stopped in was right before closing, which I know is super annoying to employees, but the owner was so nice and friendly and gave me tons of suggestions.

We were looking for a unique, quality dessert for Christmas dinner. Erica's chocolate cake with Kahlua buttercream frosting hit the mark! It was WOW beautiful and deliscious. Sunflour Bakery will be our go-to shop for special occasion cakes.

I’m so happy Newport has a new business that sells food! The blueberry danish is delicious—It’s so flaky and the cheese tastes amazing. The photo doesn’t do it justice. Their drip coffee did not disappoint either and is cheaper than Dunkin or Aromas. The shop itself is really cute and nicely decorated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ordered a cake for a birthday and then visited when we picked it up. Not only is it a really cute shop but she has so many options from drinks, food to gifts. The cupcakes were my favorite though!
