Sunee Thai and Lao Kitchen

I ordered the veggie red curry. The curry sauce itself was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and very enjoyable. The rice was good. Unfortunately, the vegetables were extremely undercooked. The eggplant was so firm it was inedible, and the green beans were equally difficult to eat. I ended up saving the large pieces of broccoli and mushrooms for last, hoping they would soften in the heat of the curry sauce. While the flavor of the dish was great, the undercooked vegetables really took away from the overall experience.

Open late until 2 AM or 4:00 AM depending.. serving delicious traditional food. Great staff. Seasonal outdoor Patio sidewalk seating available in the heart of bustling area to walk around.

To get something healthy and refreshing late at night is fantastic. The Som Tom salad is hands down the best salad I have ever had. That light zingy sauce it’s tossed with is just so incredible. It paired perfectly with added shrimp I requested. There was a slight mix up with what I ordered over the phone vs when I got there and the staff was so helpful in fixing it entirely. Wonderful service and everything else I ordered was so tasty too. New favorite spot. Thanks guys for making such good food, I swear I could eat Thai food forever.

Food was delicious!!! Portion sizes were pretty good to the point of me having 2 meals off one serving of something. The spicy rating is reasonable and a 2.5/3 was a good flavorful spice. Potstickers were good and chicken wings were fried amazingly! You have to go to the counter to order, which can make holding your table a struggle but we just went up to order individually. We got there when it was pretty empty and by the time we were leaving the place was busy for sure.

Took a drive out in SE Portland to check out a great Thai place. The Orange Chicken was amazing and so fresh, added pad kemao and salad rolls with peanut sauce. The spicy taste goes from 1 to 5 and 2 was perfect. Good portions, we will definitely return often.
