Summit Haus

I’ll never forget my first visit to the freshly renovated mountain haul bar! This is the type of place where you can forget your troubles. Where everyone knows your name— well not everyone, just Gigi and not your name, just Tecoas. But nevertheless you can feel at home here. Shout out Gigi for her incredibly rejuvenating spirit, while serving up some incredibly rejuvenating spirits. The ceiling fans were very cool as well. And look at that view! 5 stars!

Summit Haus – Angel Fire, NM Rating: 5/5 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 If you’re shredding the slopes at Angel Fire Resort and NOT stopping at Summit Haus, you’re seriously missing out! ❄️🏔️ This mountaintop gem, perched at 10,677 ft elevation, is the ultimate pit stop to warm your frozen fingers, grab a drink, and soak in those panoramic views that are straight out of a postcard! 🏔️🌤️ From the moment you hop off the Chile Express Lift, the vibes are immaculate. Summit Haus greets you with cozy lodge feels, friendly staff that are all smiles, and a menu that hits just right when you’re in full après-ski mode. 🍔🍻 We cozied up on the outdoor deck, basking in the sunshine with skies so blue they looked fake! ☀️ The backdrop? The ski lift runs from 9 am to 4 pm, but the Summit is only open from 10 am to 3 pm — kind of a mismatch. This place could be such a great après-ski spot where people could hang out, enjoy music, and relax after a long day on the slopes. Unfortunately, there’s nothing like that here.

So hubby and I went up to the Summit Haus figuring we’d get a nice hot lunch at the top. Previewed the menu. But when we went to order they only had cold sandwiches and chips($5 for chips???!!!) That’s OUTRAGEOUS!! Not what the menu says!! Can’t beat the view though!!!!

Wish there were an option for zero-star review! They really deserve it!
