Summer Moon Coffee

I've been here several times now and have enjoyed the drinks I have gotten. My go to is a quarter moon mocha, it's a standard mocha that contains some of their specialty creation called Moon milk. The aesthetic of the place is modern with a nice warm lighting in the evening. Some of the seating areas have plugs (outlet style, USB, and USB c) which is nice for charging your electronics.

So excited that Summer Moon just opened their second location in Wake Forest and it’s every bit as amazing as the original! The new space still has the iconic cozy fireplace and includes a lot of comfy seating options and laptop work areas. The oak roasted coffee is perfection — smooth, rich, and clearly made with love from an excellent team of baristas! I tried their holiday Roasted Chestnut Latte (half sweet) which was divine! Lots of yummy pastry options to choose from as well. I highly recommend the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. It’s rare to find a place that feels this warm and genuine. You can tell the owners are invested and have built something special here. Huge congrats to the whole team - this spot is definitely going to become a local favorite, too!

I did a review when it first opened. After four trips, I am adjusting my review. Every time I have come, it has taken over 15 minutes for staff to make my drink. Multiple times, there was little to no wait to order, and it still took that long. It is a beautiful space, but it is just so slow to get your order.

So excited for this 2nd location of Summer Moon coffee in Wake Forest NC. Retro cool vibe. Friendly attentive service and the coffee speaks for itself

Delicious coffee! The baristas were so nice and helpful too. Highly recommend!
