Summer House

Great restaurant with a cool vibe and beautiful decor. Indoor and outdoor seating is nice. We had a nice healthy “ish” lunch. Good array of choices on the menu. The guacamole was really good but not over the top as the menu lead us to believe, it was a bit bland, but was fresh. On the way out, there is a cookie/coffee stand that didn’t disappoint. Huge variety to choose from.

I reviewed Summer House before, but after my most recent experience, I felt the need to do it again. We sat at the bar for dinner. The staff was so kind and fun. Even the table staff when they would come up for drinks were fun to chat with. When we ordered food, I was impressed they inquired about food allergies. My chicken was so tasty and cooked beautifully. My spouse had their burger which was surprisingly great. Definitely upgrade to the truffle fries. They are wicked good. A+ for great service & food. Don’t forget to get a cookie on the way out. Yummy!!!

I found a restaurant that has many items to choose from for people with Celiac Disease. I had fried chicken tenders with sweet potato fries, delicious. Chocolate Brownie with ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious. We will be back...

Went originally on a Sunday to go to the George, but it was packed for football. The hostess suggested we go to Summer House and upon walking in we became super excited over their insane cookie bar. We were seated very quickly on a Sunday after 12p on their lovely patio. It was well shaded and the misters kept it very cool and comfortable and I am always hot, but it was perfect for me. We tried several things: the potato salad deviled eggs, cheesy dream Puffs, Belgian waffles with strawberries and a scrambled egg and crispy bacon on the side, and my friend had the crispy chicken sandwich for their entrée. Everything was very, very tasty, service was excellent and we loved the patio. We had not seen each other for a while and talked at length and did not feel rushed. We hit the cookie bar

We opted to be seated on the patio in a peaceful setting nearby a water fountain. They offer a varied menu with options from salads to tacos, a burger and a variety of chicken choices. I decided to go healthy and ordered the herbed chicken breast paillard that comes with an arugula salad. Squeezed some lemon juice over the salad and chicken and it was delish! Will definitely return soon to explore the many other menu options.
