Sumin's Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Korean Bibimbab was very good. It came in a bowl with a hot stone or something that kept hot the entire time I ate it. It never once cooled down. A little of the rice fried and sizzled at the bottom of the bowl. Everything I had was very high quality.

We just moved to Coos Bay a couple months ago. My wife and I love to try new restaurants and Sumin's did not disappoint! The portions were plentiful, the food was fresh and the recipes are great! This restaurant appears on the higher end in price until you see and taste the food. Our family came from our of town and everyone that ate here loved their food and the server was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be eating here again.

Very small place, felt crowded. My only complaint is the rice wasn't done right all the rolls kept falling apart because the rice wasn't sticky enough but the flavor of the fish was fresh and the waiter was nice. Overall I'd definitely recommend!

I visited a Japanese restaurant run by Koreans, and they surprisingly had a good selection of Korean dishes. I ordered some Korean food and was genuinely impressed by how delicious it was! Specially , The spicy chicken bowl was absolutely delicious. It might be a bit spicy for some, but it had a rich smoky flavor and a well-balanced spicy sauce. Having such a wide range of food choices is always a delight for customers. If I ever visit Coos Bay again, I'd definitely come back here. It's a highly recommended spot!

I walked in thinking I was going to get some Korean BBQ, but then I saw this masterpiece of a custom roll that the chef, herself, was eating for lunch. She graciously offered me a piece to try. I couldn’t order one for my self fast enough. I eat a lot of sushi all over the world and this custom roll was in the top 3 I’ve ever had. Cheers to the chef!! I’ll be back today for some of their fried rice that I saw as well.
