D Street Cafe

I have been to A LOT of breakfast places and diners in my travels across probably 7 or 8 different states. This place sits at the top of the list for breakfast. I’m not even a coffee fan really, but I tried it and it was outstanding and smooth. Then the food, wow. I got a biscuits and gravy, my wife got the country fried steak. OUTSTANDING. Flavorful, moist, bacon cooked perfect, eggs cooked perfectly. I saw other tables getting huge omelettes, Eggs Benedict, and Chilaquiles and those looked equally good! I feel like no matter what I ordered I would have been blown away! The price is incredible for such big portions and quality. My wife and I visit Coos bay frequently to visit our son. Today was our second visit to D Street Cafe. The atmosphere is very nice, and you will be greeted by welcoming people! The food is very good with generous servings. The biscuits and gravy are probably the best I have ever had! This is a wonderful place to visit on our way back to Humboldt. Patrick

The transformation made to the interior of this building really gives the space a whole new feel. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the experience. Tables are spaced apart well, the music was at a good level for conversation, prices were reasonable, and overall it was very comfortable. We didn’t have our kiddo with us, but I wouldn’t hesitate to bring them with us in the future.

New favorite place to eat! Great food and awesome service. Food is some of the best I've had. Flavorful and generous portions. A++++
