If Heaven had a bakery, I’m pretty sure it would look exactly like Sugar Lips Donuts in Madison, NJ. I stopped in not really knowing what to expect… and walked out with a full dozen and a spiritual experience. These donuts aren’t just good—they’re ridiculously, stupidly, outrageously good. THE VIBE The moment you walk in, the giant menu board slaps you in the face with options. Not your basic “glazed or chocolate” nonsense—no, no, no. We’re talking flavors with personality. Names. Attitude. Like you’re choosing characters in a donut video game. And every one of them looks exactly like the pictures. Which is already a miracle in 2025. I happened to find out about this little shop by luck from the local news. Lauren, the owner and operator, is super chill and accommodating. The donuts come in many different flavors, even one with bacon (!), and all my coworkers who've tried, love them. Parking is convenient with spots on the adjacent road. Ordering ahead of time and online helps.

Lauren was wonderful! I ordered 4 dozen donuts for a surprise birthday party and she made the entire process stress free. She was super responsive, delivered them herself, and most importantly- the donuts were delicious!!! 10/10 recommend! Thank you!!

I love, love, love Sugarlips Donuts. They are consistent in flavor, appearance, and overall yumminess. During holidays and special times of the year (such as Halloween as I am sharing) Sugarlips does a really great job hand-decorating each donut. They are so yummy and adorable that I have started using them as holiday gifts for our building tenants and other work associates. When available, make sure to order/try out their donut pops. They are not always available but they are an actual "pop" made out of donuts and dipped into chocolate. I have ordered and purchased larger amounts and used as thank you gifts for smaller events/parties. A small business, women-owned, local - with great donuts?! How can you go wrong!

The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm smile. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer my questions and made recommendations. They have an impressive variety of creative and classic flavors, but either you have to come early between 9 AM - 10 AM to get the full variety, or you have to book your order online a day before through their online website. And the donuts themselves? Yes, absolutely good! Soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavor.
