We had such a wonderful experience at Sugar Llamas in Shelton, and I can’t recommend it enough! The donuts were absolutely delicious and came in an impressive variety of flavors. What made it even more special was watching them being fried and decorated right in front of us — fresh, fun, and made with so much care. The ice cream was just as incredible: rich, flavorful, and clearly high quality. Every flavor we tried was a hit. We also learned that this shop does not use any form of artificial dyes in their food - a HUGE plus The highlight of our visit, though, was the owner, Ms. Yolanda. She was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. She patiently walked us through all of the menu options, let my kiddos sample the donuts, and went above and beyond by decorating their

This place is outstanding! The owner was so friendly and explained how they make their ice cream (in house!) It's so evident that they care a lot about the quality of their products! It's easily the best ice cream I've ever had! Their mini donuts are creative and delicious! I live about 30 minutes away and will happily take the drive out to Shelton when I'm craving sweets!

Dropped in for an after school treat, this place is great! As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted. It’s colorful, bright and smells great. The ice cream, coffee and donut menu are expansive so a lot of delicious choices. The person who served us was super knowledgeable and explained the entire menu to us. She offered samples of ice cream to the kiddos which was great. All of their ice cream is made in-house and they avoid dyes. Our daughter had birthday cake ice cream you could see the cake slices in it. My husband had the banana nilla chip which tasted so fresh. I had the 12 count donuts with two flavors the seasonal honey bee (cinnamon, honey and lemon) and smores. The honey bee were my favorite for this spring weather - light and sweet. I ordered my birthday cake from Yolanda at Sugar Llamas, and I was really happy with how it turned out. The design was so stylish (with elegant design details, a chic high heel topper, and a modern, sophisticated face outline); it made a great impression at the party. The marble cake inside was moist and had a nice flavor—everyone who tried it loved it! Yolanda put a lot of effort into the details, and I appreciated her creativity and professionalism throughout the process. I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a cake that’s both beautiful and delicious!

If you haven't been to Sugar Llama yet, you're missing out! We ordered our wedding cake from them, and it was honestly perfect! It was beautifully designed, super fresh, and absolutely delicious. So many guests asked where it was from because it truly stood out. We also added their ice cream cupcakes, and they were a total hit. They were fun, unique, and insanely good. Their premium ice cream is so rich and creamy, you'll never want to go back to regular ice cream again. And don't sleep on their coffee it's legit! Pro tip: get the affogato with Coffee Bean Mocha Chip ice cream. It's next-level and the ultimate treat. We're so glad we found Sugar Llama. Whether it's for a special occasion or just for a treat you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!
