We came here for a birthday and it was the most special night. The cheese wheel pasta was incredible, the wine selection was perfect, and the whole atmosphere made the evening unforgettable. We had a truly exceptional experience at Ritrovo in Shelton. The atmosphere is warm, vibrant, and stylish, creating the perfect setting for a date night. It feels intimate and energetic at the same time. While the tables are a bit close together during peak hours, it actually adds to the lively, European-style dining vibe rather than detracting from the experience. Gabby was stellar from start to finish. She was attentive without hovering, personable, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. The owner Antonio and his wife Ada were incredible!! The food and service were top notch! Our first time visiting this beautiful restaurant and it won’t be our last! The Owner came and introduced himself to us along with his wife and they truly made you feel like you are a part of the family. What a warm atmosphere! We had a great time! The past Sunday we had our wedding at Ritrovo’s and it was incredible. We had the ceremony in the small room next to the bar and then we had 35 people that took up half of the dining room for dinner. Everything was absolutely amazing from the appetizers, to the pasta to the main course. Jamie and his staff were wonderful, everyone was super attentive and paid attention to all the details. We highly recommend this restaurant for any type of event you plan to have, you will not be disappointed.
