I had a great experience with Sugar from the heart! I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and sent a couple reference photos. The theme was “Death to my Thirties” and I wanted a dark, gothic, and elegant vibe. They created a beautiful cake and helped me choose the best flavor combo. Everyone loved the cake and it definitely made the impact I wanted for the party. The pricing was very fair and I couldn’t have been more happy with the results! Highly recommend!

My sister recommended them since they made the cake for my godbaby party. I sent over an inspo photo and my cake was made PERFECTLY and everyone LOVED IT. I’ll definitely will return again. THANK YOU.

The photo says it all! My mom ordered a custom cake for my baby shower and the design was so impressive my guests hesitated to eat it. Absolutely delicious cake. We also got cupcakes impromptu when we picked up our custom order. All of them were delicious. The baker even helped us carry everything to our car!

EDIT: Besides just this public response, the owner/baker emailed me with the same energy, genuinely apologetic and sweet. I did receive my refund. I am not upset anymore, but I will still leave this review up as proof that they have stellar customer service. So, I'm going to start with the positives first. The positives: the cake tasted really good and the cake itself was tender and moist. Frosting was a bit too sweet, but that's to be expected with American buttercream. No docked points for that. It really was delicious. Now onto the bad parts. I ordered a vintage heart cake, and at first glance, it was really pretty! However, once I took a closer look, the piping looked...rushed. I ordered a custom unicorn cake and there aren't enough words to express how perfect it was. Not only was it gorgeous but it was absolutely delicious. I have bought cupcakes from them in the past that were also incredible. From the minute you walk in you can tell how much they love baking and it shows in their products. Everyone that works there is incredibly friendly and helpful. This is by far the best bakery I have ever been to and I will never go anywhere else.
