Subway

This is definitely the best subway I've been to in a very long time. The store itself is immaculately clean, the ingredients taste extremely fresh and the staff is very friendly. I haven't had good Subway in what feels like decades and this place really hit the spot

Stumbled upon this Subway location since I was in the neighborhood and needed to kill two hours. Situated on Willis Avenue in the beautiful upscale neighborhood in Albertson, Nassau County, this Subway location is super modern and clean. Most Subway locations that I've been to, especially in the five boroughs, are all depressing looking and in dire need of updating. The female employee that prepared my sub was friendly, and the sub turned out solid. The Raspberry cheesecake cookies that I received were stale. I believe that their cookies are supposed to be soft baked? No biggie. Anyways, I would return here in the future for a quick bite.

good food, good smell, good service. The people were nice and the meatballs I got were tasty.

I visited the Subway on a Monday hoping to take advantage of their Monday special: the discounted sandwich for that day. I ordered a turkey sandwich but when the cashier rang it up, I was told I didn’t qualify for the Monday price because “the turkey was a different type of turkey” or something along those lines, even though I was clearly there on Monday. What makes this even more frustrating: the advertised Monday deal is for the “Cold Cut Combo” sandwich, which includes “ham, salami, and bologna (all turkey‑based)”.  In other words, the “ham”, “salami” and “bologna” in that combo are turkey products.  So: • The Monday deal is for a specific sandwich (“Cold Cut Combo”) • That sandwich uses turkey-based meats, even though they’re labelled “ham, salami, bologna” • I ordered a “turkey

Worse experience on 8/28/25. The person at the counter was so glum, he made me so uncomfortable. I'm not sure why the other person wasn't taking orders. It was 6pm so it was hours away from closing and zero customers. He never spoke other then, " what bread?" Not hello, not ty, not bye. I had the audacity to request an oatmeal raisin cookie, he snatched it so fast it fell and 'oh no' he had to grab a different one,plop it into the bag & then plop it on the counter - 😲! To top it off, a poorly made scraps looking sub. I admit I am sensitive, yet I am also quite polite and I smile and have manners. I can not say the same for Mr. B. ~ will never go back.
