Submarine City

As soon as I saw this place, I told my wife we had to go. It’s the home of the torpedo sandwich, how could you say no. The place did not disappoint! I got a “10 inch” torpedo sandwich but it was more like 24 inches! Allie got a Hot Italian Beef which was also delicious and would have made Tony Soprano proud. Hopefully we make it back one day! My wife, Allie, who NEVER compliments me said I even did a good job. Thanks Sub City!

Nice people and clean inside, bathrooms well maintained and fast service. My complaint…where is the meat? Too expensive for an all bread and barely meat sandwich. Please fix this, it’s been happening for a while now but I was hoping it would get better. It’s not, if you’re gonna skimp on the meat lower the prices.

I’ve been picking up Submarine City for my wife for over 20 years now. She really likes it. I’m not big on subs, so I’ll take her word for it. But they have excellent cheese fries.

The food is okay, but I feel it’s overpriced for what you get. I’ve never eaten here and thought that I’d want to come back. I am really not a fan of the customer service. Any time I’ve gone in, there are rude workers and lots of signs that indicate they’re over working with people (“no refund unless you return the food”, “get off the phone before ordering”, “people order over the phone and don’t pick up they’re food so you need to pay over the phone to place an order”). Stuff like that. I get that customer service is not glamorous and have been there in many jobs. But you can tell that the management and owners have no love for their work there, and it shows in pretty much everything. This is a great dining and go restaurant. There are so many different selections for pretty much anyone. They had gyros and sub sandwiches hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken and salad. Lots to choose from. There is seating inside and plenty of parking easy to get in and off of the restaurant from route 45.
