Sub Station II

I had a problem with a DoorDash order. The Dasher had delivered it and half of it was gone, and I called the store. The owner was awesome to deal with they fixed my salad and I went to and picked it up and everyone was super helpful

I debated not leaving a review, but gah, I'm so tired of overpaying for sub par food and service. Ordered a turkey sub. The bread was stale. I ate one half because I was tired and hungry. I asked for a to-go bag and nicely mentioned to the staff that the bread was stale (so someone else didn't have to pay $14 for a stale sub). The employee's reply was "well, we toasted it". I let them know toasting stale bread does not make it NOT stale and they looked at me like I was crazy. No apology, just a snarky, "we'll look into it". I wasn't expecting a refund or replacement since I did eat half out of desperation. My goal was to let them know to save another customer. Please teach your staff that toasting stale bread does not make it better. If I wanted toasted, stale bread, I would have gone for

This is the best sandwich shop around! The staff is always pleasant and they remember you. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. Their $9.99 daily combo is just perfect for a quick bite and you can get it as a salad or wrap as well. Give them a try if you are on the eastern side of Gaston County.

Wasn’t pleased with the service I received today!!! I come here all the time and the 2 ladies who were working didn’t seem to know how much meat to put on my sandwich and was going to charge me for 2 extra pickle spears because she said only one came with my sandwich. I was just in the store 2 days ago when the owners were working and I was given 3 spears with my sandwich and was told by another employee that they were not extra as long as I want asking for the entire gallon. Everybody should be on the same page which is why meetings should be held to ensure consistency!!! Instead of just saying next time it’s this price, they took 2 of the pickle spears out of the bag!!!! Talk about petty!!! Horrible customer service!!! Just horrible!

1st time customer to this location Saturday met John very personal great attitude great customer service the food was just as great!!........... Made a return trip today Wednesday to buy lunch for my whole family very different environment the server Dre never greeted me ,never said thank you ,and honestly seemed aggravated that I was there to order food !!!Strange how one visit can be great which prompted my return only to come back for very very poor service.. Just don't think that we will be returning. At least without calling ahead to make sure someone professional is working.
