Sub Shack

Run, don’t walk to this incredible sandwich spot in the Gulf Place community in Santa Rosa Beach. We first ate at Sub Shack for lunch the Monday of our annual Sat-Sat beach trip in peak Summer season. We had actually planned to go the day before, at my husband’s request, for Father’s Day; however, this establishment is closed on Sundays, which I fully support. 100% worth. the. wait. We were traveling with 4 hungry teens from 14-18 years old, and everyone unhesitatingly agreed these were the best subs we’ve ever eaten. Nothing underscores this opinion like the frequency of our visits during the week: members of our group visited a total of 3 more times over the following 4 days. One morning, one teen even waited til they opened to grab a meatball sub (the “Beachball”) for breakfast. Sandw

Sub Shack has a cozy vibe with friendly staff. I ordered the veggie stack wrap, but it was dry and missing cheese and avocados, even though I paid extra for them. It's a great spot, but the order wasn’t as expected. Could’ve been better with the toppings!

such a good find. i got just chicken & cheese & it was so tasty. my husband got a boardwalk italiano (photo) chefs kiss. 10/10 would come back

Q. Do you fancy being a sandwich model? A. Yes, I sub-pose I would. Sub Shack’s subs are a model of yumminess, made by nice, local people! They use high quality, tasty ingredients and lots of them. I had the Shack Stack, and it was delicious - at a fair price for the beach. Sub Shack is going to be one of my local “go to” favs! It’s just been open a week. When you support local businesses, you're supporting your friends and neighbors and creating the identity of your local community. That’s important to me, supporting the local community and small entrepreneurs like Sub Shack. “Subport” local businesses, and have a delicious sub.

We are locals & we’re so excited to see a new option for food @ Gulf Place. Ordered food at the counter & sat to wait for my to go sandwich. I ordered the ham / cheese. I ordered the larger size. It’s huge !!! Lots of ham on the sandwich. I also got a bag of chips & a banana pudding. The banana pudding was the ⭐️ star !!! It is amazing !!
