Stumptown Coffee Roasters

This Stumptown coffee is very close to my hotel. I have visited there twice during my stay in Portland, and was impressed by their friendly service. My first order was Cortado but got a hot coco instead. When we realized that the barista misheard me, he insisted to get me a correct order of Cortado free of charge. Both Cortado and hot coco taste great. I appreciate his efforts to make things right for the customers. I like Stumptown coffee so I want to buy some beans to use at home. During my second visit I had a discussion with barista on what bean is good for Moka pot. He explained to me in details about his suggestions, not only from flavor point of view, but also from store uniqueness. I'm very impressed by it coffee and service, and I would recommend this store to other visitors.

Went to the downtown Stumptown with my boyfriend while we were walking around. The place has a cool vibe, definitely trendy but not too much. It was kinda busy but we still found a spot to sit. I got the matcha latte, and it was good! Not too sweet, you can actually taste the matcha which I like. The milk could’ve been a little creamier but honestly still way better than the average coffee shop. My boyfriend had a cappuccino and he said it was really smooth and not bitter at all. We grabbed a pastry to share, tasted great but a little small for the price. Service was quick, nobody super chatty but they got everything right and fast. Overall, it’s exactly what you expect from Stumptown—good drinks, nice atmosphere. My matcha wasn’t the best ever but it was solid. Would come back for sure.

This Portland coffee shop is a real treat for the senses. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the rich, comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The space is beautifully designed. I ordered a cafe latte, which was smooth and well-balanced, hitting all the right notes. There’s plenty of seating inside for catching up on work or conversation, and outdoor seating is available if you want to soak up some fresh air. All in all, a beautiful café that’s absolutely worth a visit if you’re in town.

Im not a coffee drinker, but my husband is. While I was on a trip (without him) I thought I'd stop in to get some coffee to take back home. The guy at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Based upon his recommendations I got a couple bags of beans. They did offer to grind the beans, which was perfect! The wait was only a few minutes. I cannot speak about how good the coffee is, since I dont drink it but the service and knowledge was top tier!
