A YUMMY & classic location 🤩 we loved the service, the portions & the taste on everything. I ordered the (2) eggs with hash browns (which are more like home fries to me) and bacon. My husband ordered the same thing but with grits instead. Delicious!!

Definitely wasn’t expecting the service we received. Waitress barely checked on us only brought food and the check. Then when asked how to pay her response was “At the register like Waffle House or Cracker Barrel. Very rude and unexpected. 1st time here and bad vibe.

Picked this place for breakfast as we were passing through Shreveport on our way to Hot Springs & it did NOT disappoint!! Rainey was our waitress & we haven’t had a waitress that good in a very long time!! She has a great personality & made our first experience worth it!! The strawberry ice box pie was 5 ⭐️!! As you can tell in the photo, we wasted no time in cleaning the plate. Quick service, great atmosphere & delicious food! Thanks Rainey & Strawns!!

Strawn's was busy and I was from out of town and just needed a quick to go order. I walked up to the checkout and they were able to take my order and before I had a chance to really look around it was already ready. The Fried Chicken special for the day was excellent and the chicken fried steak had an excellent flavor but was a perfectly round steak which was not appetizing to look at. The house dressing on the salad was very good. The strawberry pie was very good as well but some of the strawberries still had green on top. Overall, I will definitely be back.

I was visiting my son and we chose to have lunch here today. I have had breakfast on a previous visit and really enjoyed the experience. Today I had a bacon cheeseburger recommended by the waitress. It was delicious. Fresh ground beef, juicy, and flavorful. Fries were hot and freshly cooked. Order arrived quickly. Waitress was very attentive to all of her tables. Enjoyed the lunch and will definitely go back when in town again.
