This restaurant is a hidden gem tucked inside a small strip center. It’s very casual and unassuming, but the food and service truly stand out. Denise provides exceptional customer service and goes above and beyond. She is a step above the rest. Thank you. The gumbo was outstanding. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cheeseburger, and my pork chops with greens and mac & cheese were delicious. The greens, in particular, were some of the best I’ve ever had. We’re looking forward to returning to try the fried fish, smothered pork, more Gumbo and the 7-Up pound cake. Highly recommend — we will absolutely be back!

This place is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away—the staff are hands down the sweetest people in the area. The atmosphere is wonderful, but the service is even better. 10/10. Now, for the food: everything was truly "scrumdiddlyumptious." We had a huge spread including mozzarella sticks, boudin wraps, catfish, okra, a waffle breakfast sandwich, and crawfish pie. My personal favorite was the sweet potato fries, but honestly, every single bite was delicious. To wash it all down, the beer was served ice-cold and was incredibly refreshing. I adore this spot and will definitely be back with family and friends in tow! 🩷

Best soul food I have had. Don’t leave Shreveport without stopping by. Bring your appetite because you’re going to want it all.

We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner on our way to vacation. We were met with the friendliest staff! Loved the r&b music, although the owner (assuming) asked if we'd prefer anything else. She made our kids feel special as well. The food is EXCEPTIONAL. My husband says the boudin balls "Will put hair on your chest." 🤣 We loved it all!
