Stone Oak Tree Farm and Bed & Breakfast

Our hosts Richard Sr and Natalie and Richard Jr and Danielle went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They are the sweetest people and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. The craftsmanship that went into the barn is a testament to their passion and dedication. The B&B is set on their Christmas tree farm and it makes an ideal setting for a weekend getaway from the city. You can sit out on their deck and enjoy your breakfast and take in a great view of their Christmas trees. Would definitely go back.

Our weekend at Stone Oak was beyond perfect. The barn is immaculate, clean, and gorgeous. The owners, Natalie and Richard are wonderful people, so accommodating and thoughtful. They offer everything you may need from a full kitchen stocked with coffee, milk, yogurt, peanut butter, etc. to shampoo, toothbrushes, a hairdryer, etc. They have a true passion for making sure you are comfortable and at home. Natalie sneaks in in the morning and leaves a lovely spread for breakfast which includes juice, pastries, oatmeal, fresh cut fruit, and more. I would absolutely come back and I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Richard did a terrific in building the farm and making us welcome, we were there at Valentines day and Natalie made a magical breakfast. The photos don't do this place justice, it's a really spacious barn turned B&B with a lot of private corners to sit and relax or enjoy the view. The building is independent so it feels like having your own home.

I have been to many B&Bs over the years but I was not ready for what I experienced at Stone Oak Tree Farm. I had one of the most incredible travel experiences of my life there. Sometimes you book a place based on a couple of photos, the price, location, and a few reviews (like this one). But this didn’t adequately prepare my friend and I for how wonderful it was to be here for our stay.||||The accommodations are first rate. You are actually staying on a working Christmas tree farm, and the trees are growing right outside the windows. Below the guest rooms is the welcome center/antique shop for the business. I was initially seeking a month long housing option in the area as I am a medical student doing a rotation at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. My initial housing plans fell through and Rich and Natalie were right there to help me out in a crunch. I rented one of the three bedrooms for an entire month while I was there for a rotation. It is about a 15 minute drive into Middletown, NY and very close to restaurants and supermarkets. I had a fantastic stay and had no complaints. There are three individual bedrooms all with on-suite private bathrooms and a shared living space, kitchen, deck, and dining room. Each room is equipped with a TV, air conditioner, and fast wi-fi. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a complete meal if staying in.
