Stone County Health Department

I have contacted the Stone Co. Galena Health/Environmental Dept. twice since 3/29/21 about a neighbors’ septic tank that is overflowing onto surrounding properties and possibly into the runoff ditch that runs to Table Rock Lake. This sewage is seeping through our property and is affecting our newly planted trees and possibly an underground spring. My husband has video footage of sewage spewing out of their discharge line onto the ground uphill from their house. As yet, we have had NO response from the Galena Health/Environmental Dept.! Very disappointing! If we don’t receive a response soon we will pursue other agencies for help!

I had to involve Stone County HD in a dispute with neighbors over a great water pipe. You had to be patient as I assume they run quite busy. But at the end the issue was solved.

The people who work here are courteous, knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. They work hard to help keep our water safe and keep our bodies healthy.

Family friendly and helpful as a public service! We are grateful for our Stone County Health Dept.

I called just to find out some information about a covid test and the operator lady was nasty and very rude and hung up me.
